How can libraries help their research communities implement the FAIR principles? And write better data management plans (DMPs)? To find out, join LIBER on 10 March at 13:00 CET for a free webinar: Are the FAIR Data Principles fair?

Europe's main association of research libraries LIBER invites you to the upcoming Free Webinar: Are the FAIR Data Principles Fair?

Here is the information about this webinar organised by LIBER’s Working Group on Scientific Information Infrastructures

Date & Time:

10 March, 2017

13:00 CET

Register at:

Alastair Dunning

About the webinar:

This LIBER webinar will contain some guidance and reflections on the FAIR principles themselves.

Webinar participants should come away with a clearer idea of how the principles can be understood and then implemented with specific research proposals and data management plans (DMPs).

The webinar is based on a study of 37 data repositories (from subject specific repositories, to generic data archives, to national infrastructures), seeing how far they comply with each of the individual facets of the Data principles.

This allows us to see how the principles can be interpreted, which of the principles are easy to implement, and which are more tricky.

About the presenter:

Alastair Dunning :

Head Research Data Services at the TU Delft (hosts of the 4TU.Centre for Research Data).
