Using online platforms to increase access to open data, share best practices for monitoring women's land rights

Online Discussion from 6-20 February: Connecting people, sharing knowledge and increasing transparency. Using online platforms to increase access to open data, share best practices for monitoring women's land rights.

The discussion will be held on the landportal.info and simultaneously across the following five community platforms: Wikigender, e-Agriculture, AIMS, FSN-Forum,; and the Open-Development list.

Feel free to contribute on what ever platform is more familiar. Each platform will provide clear guidance on how to post your contribution.

All contributions are to be synthesized regularly and analysed into a report/policy brief to be distributed across all platforms, as well as into a more in-depth paper to be presented at the annual World Bank Land and Poverty Conference, to be held in Washington DC from April 8-11 2013.

This discussion will be facilitated by the International Land Coalitions (ILC) (www.landcoalition.org) Women’s Land Rights team.
