AGRIS - The link to worldwide scientific agricultural information and data:

Accessing scientific information and digital data through online platforms is a key element to facilitate innovation transfer and assure the generation of new ideas, products and services worldwide. The AGRIS platform provides free access to more than 12 million records about publications in up to 90 different languages. It facilitates access to referring books, journal articles, monographs, book chapters, datasets and grey literature - including unpublished scientific and technical reports, theses, dissertations and conference papers in the area of food and agriculture.

IGAD Agricultural Data Interest Group Providing an Innovative Forum for Digital Discussion:

IGAD is a domain-oriented group working on all issues related to global agriculture data. It represents stakeholders in managing data for agricultural research and innovation, including producing, aggregating and consuming data. IGAD promotes good practices in research with regard to data sharing policies, data management plans, and data interoperability, and it is a forum for sharing experience and providing visibility to research and work in agricultural data.

The goal of the new LinkedIn group is to create a virtual meeting room and forum where professionals in the food and agricultural industry can post relevant content. The group is also important to facilitate conversations around digital data for innovation and resources available to support promoting accessibility of digital data and research, breaking barriers, linking and opening data and facilitating innovation transfer, assuring the generation of new ideas in food and agriculture.
