The AIMS team joins other stakeholders for the 9th International Conference on Open Repositories 2014 (OR2014) which is being held in Helsinki, Finland. The theme for this year is 'Towards Repository Ecosystems' motivated by the idea that repository systems are a central part of the 21st century research ecosystem. Also, it is increasingly clear that no single repository will serve as the sole resource for its community.
AIMS encourages openness and interoperability of repositories and systems both for data and information and partners with like-minded institutions in this endeavour and also with Open Access networks.
A glance on the agenda reveals a program that is densely packed with a multitude of different sessions. This year's edition is unique in that above the yearly feature -the Developers challenge - users can also follow sessions remotely through Adobe Connect and also connect via mobile app.
