The goal of the iGreen Project is to design and implement location-based services and knowledge networks for linking distributed and heterogeneous information sources, public or private. iGreen provides users with standardized, industry-wide connectivity with intelligent technologies and allows the usage of data-dependent and collaboratively organized services.

FAO representative, Ahsan Morshed attended this workshop about AGROVOC thesaurus and AgroXML schema mapping at the AIFB Institute, KIT-Campus, Karlsruhe, in Germany, on 21st January 2010. Next AGROVOC thesaurus and AgroXML mapping workshop will be held at FAO Headquarters in Rome, Italy from 1-2 March 2010.
