First plenary meeting of the SemaGrow project

On Monday 13 and Thursday 16 May, the 1st plenary meeting of the SemaGrow project will be held in Rome at the University of Tor Vergata. SemaGrow envisages to develop the scalable, efficient, and robust data services needed to take full advantage of the data-intensive and inter-disciplinary Science of 2020 and to re-shape the way that data analysis techniques are applied to the heterogeneous data cloud.

The project consortium comprises the Universidad de Alcalá (Spain) - (Coordinator), the National Centre for Scientific Research “Demokritos” and the Agro-Know Technologies company (both from Greece), the Semantic Web Company (Austria), the Institute of Physics Belgrade (Serbia), the Stichting Dienst Landbouwkundig Onderzoek (Netherlands), the University of Tor Vergata (Italy), and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO).
