OPEN ACCESS updates from Austria

The Open Access Network Austria (OANA) has published16 Recommendations on how to shift the academic publishing system to 100% Gold Open Access until 2025.

These recommendations were presented at the Berlin12 Conference and to Austrian parliamentarians.

Katja Mayer has published a Policy Brief on Open Science for the ERA Portal Austria.

The project e-Infrastructures Austria has provided an overview of theAustria-wide survey for research data.

The Austrian Science Fund (FWF) has launched a pilot programme for projects focusing on Open Research Data (ORD) and extents the programme Stand-Alone Publications to new digital formats.

The Academy of Fine Arts and FWF have supported the Open Library of Humanities (OLH) with € 2.500 and € 15.000 p.a.

An Austrian consortium has collected € 30.000 p.a. for the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ).
