In the last column of this table, there are three ways to get access to a community:
1) Join
Simply click on ‘Join’ to become a part of the community.
2) Request membership
If you click on ‘Request membership’ you are asked to provide some additional details on why you would like to join the community. You will then receive the message: Membership request to the X group awaits approval by an administrator.
As soon as possible the administrator will send you a mail whether your request is approved or not.
3) Invite only
To join a community like this, you need to be invited by the administrator of the group. Otherwise you can write to AIMS@fao.org and explain why you would like to become a member.

In order to join a community you first have to register on AIMS and then login on the website.
Subsequently, go to the Communities of Practice homepage to get an overview of all available communities.
