The AIMS team is pleased to announce the webinar “E-LIS : A disciplinary repository to support Agricultural Information Management Specialists.“

The objective of this webinar is to give an introduction to the E-LIS Repository and its functions. E-LIS is the largest international document repository for full text scientific papers in Library and Information Science. E-LIS is organised, managed and maintained by an international voluntary team of information managers.

The webinar addresses agricultural researchers, librarians, information management specialists, software developers, agricultural journal editors, related data providers and other interested people.

About the webinar

The webinar will describe how E-LIS repository works. Therefore, the webinar will focus on how information management specialists in agriculture can submit their content on E-LIS. In order for information management specialists to archive and share their research outputs on E-LIS, they need to be aware of different content types that are acceptible; the issues relating to copyright; and finally be aware of the submission workflows in E-LIS. The webinar will address these issues in-depth and will explain the E-LIS submission steps.

Furthermore the webinar will reveal how agricultural information management specialists can locate and use E-LIS is a reference point and repository for Agricultural Information Management papers. Lastly, the presentation will cover a few developments done to E-LIS and future prospects.
