A regional workshop on “a knowledge management platform in support of agricultural research and innovation” took place in Brasilia, Brazil from 29 November to 1 December. The workshop links to the CIARD initiative.

Platform to bring forth agricultural innovation

The goal of the workshop was to create a platform for all institutions in the region, where efforts on capacity building and knowledge management can be exchanged in order to opening up new pathways for knowledge in agricultural research for development, and bring forth agricultural innovation.

Senior managers and experts from 15 countries in Latin America, The Caribbean, and Europe discussed for three days its realization.
