Focus on Webinars@AIMS

Webinars@AIMS are an initiative to build capacity within the community through online interactive activities such as online seminars. Institutional members of the CIARD movement sponsor the Webinars@AIMS with the collaboration of the AIMS Team. These webinars were started as an Open Access activity in 2012, and their demand steadily increased. Today the Webinars@AIMS are a specific service offered to the AIMS Community members and other interested information workers.

Webinars are carried out on any day of the week, and their scheduling adapts to the needs of users in different countries. Sessions are recorded and can be viewed at the user's convenience at Webinar@AIMS  or on the AIMS YouTube account. Webinars have been conducted in English, French, Arabic, Chinese, Spanish and Russian.

Webinars@AIMS cover a broad range of topics of interest for information workers related to open access, open data, vocabularies, metadata, tools, Linked Data and any theme about agricultural information management. Furthermore, any community member can send suggestions for new topics to
