Brand new look for the Agricultural Information Management Standards web site

The Agricultural Information Management Standards (AIMS) web site has recently unveiled its new look and feel following FAO's online corporate identity.

The overall structure and navigation to ontologies, vocabularies and tools have been improved. News and events are presented in a clearer way and all contents are efficiently managed in order to be easily edited, re-used in different contexts and exported. Publications are harvested in real time from the FAO Document Repository. Besides, new contents have been added, such as information on projects related to standards. More developments will cover semantic features.

A whole new ‘Community’ section has been introduced with collaboration and discussion tools like wikis, forums and blogs for the various communities working on Agricultural Information Management Standards.

Finally the AIMS web site has moved to a new shorter address http://aims.fao.org/, while ensuring that all URIs in the previous http://www.fao.org/aims domain are still valid.
