I have held my current position at Cornell University's Albert R. Mann Library since early 1997, shortly after earning my M.L.I.S. Mann Library's mission is to support learning and research in the life sciences, agriculture, human ecology and applied social sciences. I am the original developer of the indexing process for TEEAL (The Essential Electronic Agricultural Library) and have created the index for most of it's existing years. Currently I am a member of the project team to redesign TEEAL using funds provided by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. I also support the journal and book content of AGORA (Access to Global Online Research in Agriculture), which is a member of the umbrella group Research4Life. As part of this role, I am the co-chair of the Research4Life Technology Team.
What are your domain(s) of expertise?
Project Management; Collection Development (for AGORA); Index Creation (for TEEAL)
What is your relationship with agricultural information management standards, tools and services?
I am currently investigating the use of AGROVOC subject categories within AGORA. TEEAL already uses AGROVOC.
