New ARD information services registered on CIARD Ring

Currently the CIARD Routemap to Information Nodes and Gateways (RING) contains 278 services/sources and 141 providers that share information related to agricultural research and innovation for development (ARD). Six new resources have been added since the end of March. To stay updated on the newly registered resources take a look at the CIARD RING Updates page.

The CIARD RING gives a global overview of web-based information sources/services in agriculture. Its scope is to facilitate the discovery of sources of agriculture-related information.

The services registered in the RING are described in details and categorized according to criteria that are relevant to the use of the service and its interoperability (such as metadata standards adopted, subject vocabularies used, technologies used, protocols implemented etc.)

Register ARD information services

All providers of ARD information services are invited to register their services in the RING. Anybody can register new services in the RING, provided that they know the necessary technical information about the service and they are responsible for the service or authorized by a responsible person.
