Open Access

AIMS（农业信息管理标准）支持开放式获取，重点放在倡导方法论及良好措施，增强农业和相关科学的研究数据在万维网上的可获得性和可视性。AIMS通过以下关键途径，为有效扩散和更容易获取研究产出提供方便：

通过应用AIMS实践社区为网络建设提供方便，倡导应用良好措施；
为生成、管理和交换有意义的书目信息，建议应用适宜的元数据标准；
发布和维护专题辞汇表；以及
应用推荐的元数据和专题辞汇表自定义工具

在CIARD 计划之内，AIMS成为上述4个要素的一个参考点。

Participate virtually in the G-8 International Conference on Open Data for Agriculture

The slogan of the G-8 International Conference on Open Data for Agriculture is: "Open access to publicly funded agriculturally-relevant data is critical to increasing global food security". The conference will take place from 29-30 April in Washington, D.C., but can also be followed online by signing up for the conference's webinar version.

The AIMS Community is represented by Johannes Keizer who will present the session "Exploiting open data for integrated information systems". In the interview "The challenge is not to make data theoretically accessible, but also practically usable" published on AIMS, Keizer shares his views on the importance of Open Data for agriculture, the goals of the conference and the role of AIMS in contributing to these goals.
