What is your relationship with agricultural information management standards, tools and services?
We are currently a provider of information technology services for the Ministry of Agriculture of Angola, and we are in the process of developing a Library Management System that will use the Agrics/Caris categorisation scheme, as well as the agrovoc thesaurus. Being always on top of current IT trends, we have come across the AIMS website, and the metadata standards they have been adopting and enhancing for the Agricultural Sector. Hence, we are looking into adopting the standards that have already established as well as share our experiences in the field of metadata management.
