The Unified Medical Dictionary (UMD)

The Unified Medical Dictionary (UMD) is an English/Arabic Medical Dictionary, which was originally compiled in the late 1960s/early 1970s on the recommendation and as a result of an initiative by the Arab Medical Union. UMD is divided into several specialized dictionaries such as Biology, Biomedical ethics, Food safety, Informatics, Nutrition and dietetics, Tropical Medicine, Zoology, etc. It also includes a specialized archive.
