This Webinar is co-organized by Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO of the UN) together with Information Training & Outreach Centre for Africa (ITOCA).

The webinar introduces AGRIS (the International System for Agricultural Science and Technology), - a global public domain database with (as of May 2018) more than 9 million structured bibliographical records on agricultural science and technology.

is an experienced library and information science specialist who holds a Masters in Information Science; is a Program Officer with Information Training & Outreach Centre for Africa (ITOCA). he joined ITOCA in 2006 and has coordinated and facilitated more than 200 face to face and online courses, training Information professionals, academicians, scientists, researchers and students; has experience in coordinating, facilitating and developing materials for a portfolio of training programs including monitoring and evaluation, electronic library resources, information literacy, digitization, reference management, knowledge management, TEEAL, Research4life, - amongst others.
