The AgriOcean DSpace (AOD) team awaits with anticipation the intended DSpace 3.0 release, announced earlier this year, albeit a short time after releasing DSpace version 1.8.2.

Migrating AgriOcean DSpace to DSpace 3.0

The current AOD version 1.1 is equivalent to DSpace 1.7.1(JSPUI version). Therefore the AOD partners decided to stall the migration to DSpace 1.8.2 until the DSpace version 3.0 is available. In the meantime, current developments are done independently from the main software and these (where possible) will be incorporated into the next AOD version.
