Access to Global Online Research in Agriculture (AGORA) is one of the five programmes composing Research4Life. Currently, AGORA provides free or low cost access to up to 13,800 peer-reviewed journals and 26,690 e- books (in agriculture and related sciences) to more than 3,400 institutions from more than 115 eligible countries!

AGORA WEBINARS. BACKGROUND

Based on their very successful series of AGORA online course “Fundamentals of Information Literacy and Access to Global Online Research in Agriculture", AGORA Team will lead three webinars, based on the AGORA course content which covers how users search, browse, select and disseminate AGORA content. 

The webinar aims at sharing experiences of using the AGORA platform and help solve any problems or reply to any questions the users might have. In particular, during the one hour webinar, participants can share their experiences and two AGORA Team facilitators will be available to reply to your questions or demonstrate specific aspects of searches in AGORA.

To get the most out of this webinar it is important for you to have taken some time to use AGORA. Please let us know at [email protected] if you have not been able to connect to AGORA and we will help you further.

Ce séminaire en ligne est organisé spécifiquement pour les alumni du cours en ligne "Principes fondamentaux de la maîtrise de l'information et de l'accès à la recherche mondiale en ligne en agriculture - AGORA". Le webinaire a pour but de partager des expériences d’utilisation de la plate-forme AGORA, que vous avez eu après le cours en ligne et d'aider à résoudre les problèmes ou donner des réponses aux questions des utilisateurs.

Pendant une heure, les participants peuvent partager leurs expériences et deux animateurs de l’équipe AGORA seront disponibles pour répondre à vos questions ou pour faire des démonstrations de recherches dans AGORA.

Pour retirer le maximum du séminaire en ligne, il est important que vous ayez déjà effectués quelques recherches dans AGORA. Este webinar está organizado específicamente para ex alumnos 2018 del curso en línea “Fundamentos en Alfabetización Informacional y Acceso Global en Línea a la Investigación en Agricultura - AGORA”. El webinar tiene como objetivo compartir experiencias sobre el uso de la plataforma AGORA después del curso y ayudar a resolver cualquier problema o responder a cualquier pregunta que los usuarios puedan tener.

Durante una hora, los participantes pueden compartir sus experiencias y dos facilitadores del Equipo AGORA estarán disponibles para responder sus preguntas o mostrar aspectos específicos de las búsquedas en AGORA.

Para aprovechar al máximo este seminario web, es importante que se haya tomado un tiempo para usar AGORA. ¿No ha podido conectarse a AGORA desde que participó en el curso? Por favor háganoslo saber en [email protected] y le ayudaremos más.
