La comunidad de AIMS está formada por personas que participan en la gestión de información y datos (agrícolas) en todo el mundo, con diferentes niveles de competencia técnica.
La comunidad de AIMS es un espacio abierto y libre que permite la comunicación y el intercambio de ideas, sugerencias, preguntas y soluciones en torno a las esferas centrales de los servicios de acceso a información y datos, y de normas abiertas, tecnología y metodologías de gestión de información y datos. Los miembros de la comunidad de AIMS pueden conectarse con otros miembros de la comunidad y compartir sus publicaciones sobre buenas prácticas, proyectos y acontecimientos.
