The VOA3R project organized a Controlled Experiment for Reviewing Lifecycle Services. This experiment is one of the series of related events organized by the project during the previous months and aims to engage stakeholders in an alternative review lifecycle workflow. In order to achieve this, the initial version of the papers submitted and accepted for the 5th International Workshop Metadata and Semantics for Agriculture, Food and Environment of the 6th Metadata and Semantics Research Conference (MTSR 2012) were used for testing the alternative review lifecycle.

Everyone is welcome to participate to the experiment. You only have to folllow the next steps:

1. Visit the blog hosting the experiment
2. Each blog post provides the title, description and authors of each paper, and features the link to access the full-text.
3. Select one of the papers available there (submitted versions of the papers - not the accepted ones!)
4. Read the full-text available through a link at the bottom of each blog post / paper entry.
5. Provide a mini review of the paper in the form of a blog comment, using the link "Leave a comment" below the paper's post.
6. You are invited to repeat the process as many times as you wish.
7. The authors will be able to respond to each review/comment, while anyone interested may also join the conversation and cotnribute to the review of the paper.
8. The authors may take the comments into consideration and revise the initial version of their paper.
