The National Library of Medicine (NLM) launched MeSH on Demand, an easy to use tool to automatically retrieve the medical subject (MeSH) terms that are relevant to your texts. Useful for example for indexing purposes.

It is simply a question of pasting text - medical abstracts, summaries and documents - in the text box on the homepage of the MeSH on Demand service. The NLM Medical Text Indexer program will provide you then with a relevant list of terms. There is no need to have any prior knowledge of the MeSH vocabulary nor to download anything.

The service has been developed in close collaboration among MeSH Section, NLM Index Section and the Lister Hill National Center for Biomedical Communications.
