Stage 4 of the FAO Country Profiles project was recently approved by the Project Management Board. This stage will close the current FAO Country Profiles (FCP) project at the end of 2009. Based on the results of the project and the recommended follow-on actions, a new business case and project initiation document will be prepared at the beginning of 2010.

During this short stage of two months, the team will concentrate in providing continuous support to FAO technical divisions, enriching the content of the FCP with FAO and non-FAO resources, promoting standards for country-based information and knowledge exchange, and analyzing the most suitable technologies to upgrade the system platform next year.
