GFRAS has joined the CIARD Movement
The Global Forum for Rural Advisory Services (GFRAS) has recently joined CIARD. The Coherence in Information for Agricultural Research for Development (CIARD) is a partnership-based initiative to disseminate agricultural research data more efficiently and make it publicly available and accessible to all.
GFRAS provides advocacy and leadership on pluralistic, demand-driven rural advisory services within the global development agenda for the sustainable reduction of hunger and poverty worldwide. It also supports the development and synthesis of evidence-based approaches and policies for improving the effectiveness of rural advisory services. As such GFRAS has a major stake in facilitating knowledge flows between researchers and practitioners, and in making the outputs of agricultural research truly accessible to all.
