In recent meetings representatives of the National Agricultural Library of the USA, CABI International and FAO have talked about a strong collaboration in the further development of their thesauri.  Goal of this collaboration is to develop a global agricultural concept scheme to concentrate and streamline the efforts of the 3 organizations in the delivery of shared vocabularies.  I an recent meeting in Wallingford a collaboration agreement was drafted, which will now examined by the organizations.  A working group should be set up within this year.
