This week (October 21 -27) is Open Access Week, a global event in its 6th year running promoting open access as a concept and a communication model for research and scholarly output. AIMS supports (through the CIARD) Open Access focusing on the promotion of methodologies and good practices to enhance the accessibility and visibility of research data in agriculture and related sciences on the Web.

In general, 2013 activities happening are listed on the Open Access Week website.Some activities includes talks, exhibitions, promotional materials, webinars amongst many others.
