Tenth anniversary of the Budapest Open Access Initiative
The 10th anniversary of the launch of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI) was celebrated yesterday, February 14, 2012, in Budapest. The meeting was convened by the Open Society Institute (OSI) and focussed on what was learnt over the past ten years and how the next ten can be navigated.

Budapest Open Access Initiative
The Budapest Open Access Initiative invites 'governments, universities, libraries, journal editors, publishers, foundations, learned societies, professional associations, and individual scholars to sign the Declaration to support open access and build a future in which research and education in every part of the world are more free to flourish.
