CABI (Centre for Agriculture and Biosciences International), IICA (Inter-American Institute for Cooperation on Agriculture) and Cornell University are interested in finding out how information technology is applied to synthesising research evidence in agriculture.



They are seeking to identify the methods, tools and support mechanisms currently being used by researchers and information practitioners for evidence synthesis. They would also want to identify the challenges and obstacles that prevent or obstruct the synthesis of agricultural evidence at a greater scale.



The aim is to drive improvements in how agricultural research is synthesised in practice, so that, ultimately, they can increase both the scale and quality of evidence for practitioners and policy-makers.



They may share the anonymized findings of this survey with the user community at various conferences and events to help identify further appropriate activities.
