ODS webinar on Metatadata for Learning Resources
The Open Discovery Space (ODS) project offers a series of free webinars on different topics related to the adoption of Open Educational Resources. In this context, the ODS project consortium is kindly inviting you to attend their next webinar entitled "Metadata for Learning Resources".
This webinar aims at introducing the basic concepts related to describing educational resources with metadata. In this regard, firstly the ODS project will be introduced, describing the way it makes use of metadata. Participants will be introduced to existing and more common metadata standards for learning resources, such as IEEE LOM and let them understand the concept of metadata application profile.
The webinar will be delivered by David Martín Moncunill, researcher at the University of Alcalá, Spain. David has been deeply involved in several projects related to educational metadata in the agricultural context, such as Organic.Edunet, Organic.Lingua and VOA3R and he is currently coordinating UAH tasks at ODS WP6.
The webinar is scheduled to be held on Wednesday 17th of September 2014 at 17:00 CET. The access technology will be Google Hangouts. The estimated duration of the webinar is 1h 30’.
