Dear all,

     at the Addis meeting we had decided quite an ambitious workprogram. Until now  out of this only our contributions to the pathways have become public. On many of the other issues we have not started discussion despite of individual work that might be ongoing.

CIARD  will have only an impact if we will be able to create an active community. The CMFT is a key issue to this.  I am not speaking only about the taks  that we decided to execute and with which we are  much in delay.  I am speaking also about the lack of a constant exchange and discussion between the CMFT members.

  It is quite clear that all of us have challenging jobs with an enormous workload. We will need to find methods of working that do not add further load to our working days, but will help us to more efficient.

   In the next days  I will come back to some of the tasks, which we decided in Addis. From September 23 on, RIchard Kedemi is for six weeks in Rome and we will also disuss how to get the work of the CMTF better
