The Measuring your Research Impact (MyRI) project produced an online Open Access tutorial to support bibliometrics training and awareness. It consists of the following three modules:

Module 1: Introduction to bibliometrics

Module 2: Track your research impact

Module 3: Journal ranking and analysis

You can run the tutorial on the MyRI website or download and customise it.

It is designed so you can go through the whole tutorial or, if for example you only want to know how many times your publications have been cited, you can select this option from the menu on the left-hand-side of the screen.

Alongside the online tutorial, MyRI has produced a wide range of supporting materials from which you can make a selection to aid you with your training effort in bibliometrics.

What is MyRI?

A collaborative project of four Irish academic libraries producing a set of materials to support bibliometrics training. The project was funded by the Irish National Digital Learning Resources (NDLR).

All materials are available on Open Access under Creative Commons license, enabling you to select, edit and re-package them to suit your local needs.
