Dear AgriDrupal community members,

 

CIEPI is the International Centre for Research in Information Strategy and Development. With members in more than 40 countries, we aim to analyze the current situation, trends and evolution of information, information techniques, processes, management, as well as the roles of information management specialists in the XXI Century. CIEPI is specifically focused on open access to scholarly communication outputs, scientific publishing, preservation of digital information and standardization, evaluation and dissemination of science with special regard to its social aspects. Some of the projects currently managed by CIEPI are:

During the last days CIEPI upgraded its Drupal website. During this procedure, not yet complete, we use features from AgriDrupal although we are not 100% engaged in Agriculture. However, if the community agrees, CIEPI is willing to join the AgriDrupal Community with the objective of getting benefits from the community itself but also promoting the use of Drupal CMS in Library & Information Science.

 

We believe that the publication of information on the web should be standarized as much as possible by the use of tools like Drupal and therefore we would like to promote its use, an example of it is through our participation in the AgriDrupal Communiy.
