Open Data Awards 2016: Shortlists Announced

The ODI is delighted to announce the shortlists for the Open Data Awards 2016. The variety and quality of the nominations showed the impact that open data is having across various sectors around the world. We’re looking forward to seeing what all the nominees – with their keen eyes for innovation – do next and congratulate them on their work so far.

The judges – Tim Berners-Lee, Nigel Shadbolt, Martha Lane Fox, Hera Hussain, Edafe Onerhime and Emer Coleman – are currently choosing the winning entries, to be announced at the awards ceremony hosted by the ODI at the BFI on 1 November.

We hope that you will join us on the evening to celebrate successes in business, publishing, innovation and social impact, as well as individual champions and women in data. If you’re unable to be there in person then do join in the conversation on Twitter using #ODIAwards.
