What is your relationship with agricultural information management standards, tools and services?
I worked at different areas including Amboni Plantations Limited (APL) as Production Supervisor from September 2012 to September 2013 and responsible for taking care of all field activities, Testing the hybrid varieties from ARI-Mlingano, Supervising the production activities daily, Evaluating the daily production, Approving wages payments and overtime payments, Preparing the Daily report, weekly report and monthly report about production as whole and cooperate with Manager and assistant Manager in the Monthly budget projection. I am currently conducting a research on the Application of genomic selection and association mapping to breeding for resistance to rice blast and bacterial blight of Rice (Oryza sativa L.) in East Africa.
