rdf:value Banana starch is the semi-crystalline polysaccharide extracted from green bananas (genus Musa). In its native (unmodified) form, it exhibits a high proportion of resistant starch. Banana starch can be utilized not only on food products (thickening agent, fat replacer, edible coating and more) but also for non-food products (biodegradable materials and adhesives).
