AGRITROP : the open repository of CIRAD publications
AGRITROP is the open repository of CIRAD publications. Its content is provided by CIRAD researchers themselves who deposit their publications. AGRITROP is based on EPrints free software and offers search/browsing enhanced by AGROVOC multilingual thesaurus and AGRIS categorization scheme.

Three online services provide access to some or all of CIRAD’s publications: |
In particular, AGRITROP (indexed by ROAR and DOAR) offers open and free access to the French agricultural research and international cooperation organization CIRAD's written scientific outputs.
These latter comprise: articles, books, chapters, posters, papers, reports, theses, dissertations, authorizations to supervise research, etc. that are directly deposited by CIRAD's researchers, who make them accessible, albeit subject to author's rights.
To date, AGRITROP contains 97,000 references and 30,000 full-text documents in the fields of agricultural research and rural development in Southern countries.
AGRITROP is based on EPrints free software and standards enabling exchange of metadata and their indexing.
The repository offers two levels of searching: simple and advanced search (enhanced by AGROVOC Multilingual Thesaurus). The AGROVOC terms are displayed in the records.
Access the simple search on the front page, or above the navigation menu at the top of the screen. It allows you to just enter one or more search terms (e.g., part of the title, the author or any orther piece of information you would like to search for).
Browsing is a good way to access documents if you do not have a specific idea of what you are looking for.
There are four ways to browse: by subject (enhanced by AGRIS categorization scheme), by year, by author and by author affiliation.
The contents can be also searched/browsed by lists of CIRAD authors, latest additions.
To access a chosen document, simply click on the PDF logo in the display. Documents with a green padlock are in open access. Only CIRAD employees can access other documents.
You can export search results in a variety of formats : ASCII Citation, EndNote, HTML Citation and Reference Manager. To use this exporting facility, you must first run your search, and then select the format you would like to export to from the dropdown menu near the top of the results page.
