AgriOcean DSpace was presented at the recent workshop on Open Access and Agricultural Repositories held in Limassol, Cyprus, in October 18th, 2012 with AgriOcean DSpace: Customized version of DSpace for agricultural and aquatic networks in parallel with developments at Hasselt University.

This presentation gave an overview of AgriOcean DSpace features such as the use of ontologies, extended OAI PMH interface with MODS and AGRIS AP, use of authority control for journal titles, amongst many other features. It also reviewed the user support platform through the AgriOcean DSpace Community of Practice via the AIMS website and further highlighted some intended AgriOcean DSpace future developments.
