The annual conference on Semantic Interoperability Conference (SEMIC 2019) organised by the ISA² Programme of the European Commission, in collaboration with the Finnish Presidency of the Council of the EU, will be held in Helsinki, Finland on 21 October 2019.

This year theme will be 'Linking data spaces for citizens' and will explore the link between semantic interoperability and trans-European data spaces and their benefits for Europeans. This will be done by approaching this topic both from an innovative technologies point of view, artificial intelligence (AI), and from a transactional point of view around actual exchanges of information between public administrations.
