With this message I woud like to kick-off this e-consultation about "Agridrupal" . On the agro=idrupal site several documents and presentations can be found about Agridrupal. The site also gives kind of a mission statement. From this statement:



"AgriDrupal is both a suite of Drupal-based solutions for agricultural information management and a community of practice around these solutions. "



The mission statement may very well change as a result of this e-consultation. We will discuss the need as well as the possibilities of a community of practice about Drupal in the agicultural sector.



The group that prepared this consultation has formulated a number of questions, and I have tentatively made up a time table. Dates are indicative but I hope we can keep to the schedule as much as possible; in my experience e-consultations become less effective if they last too long

• What are the participants using Drupal for at the moment, and what are the plans for further development

• What kind of support from other institutions in the agricultural domain would be useful?

18 September / 22 September

• Building on the conclusions from topic 2. , what would be the specific areas of cooperation in the agricultural sector?
• Is there a need to develop specific modules, installation profiles, etc.?

23 September / 25 September

• How should the community of practice be organised?

So let me repeat the question that we will discuss first:
