Minimum services on AIMS this summer

As summer holidays have started in Europe most people are on their annual holidays and limited staff remain in office, this might lead to a delay in answering questions. As a result AIMS will be maintained at a minimum, however, new user approval will continue normally.

We thank you for your understanding and your usual support. Full services resume on the 1st of September 2014. We would like to wish you a successful summer and a pleasant wintertime depending on your region.

Meanwhile continue channelling your queries to aims@fao.org

¿Qué es

data mining

A class of database applications that look for hidden patterns in a group of data that can be used to predict future behavior. For example, data mining software can help retail companies find customers with common interests. The term is commonly misused to describe software that presents data in new ways. True data mining software doesn't just change the presentation, but actually discovers previously unknown relationships among the data.
