The Statistics Division of the Food an Agriculture Organization (FAO) of the United Nations has launched a new version of FAOSTAT in English, French and Spanish. The release is part of the organization's mission to improve data collection and dissemination for development and the fight against global hunger and malnutrition.
The new platform continues to offer free and easy access to data for 245 countries and 35 regional areas from 1961 through the most recent year available. Enhanced features include browsing and analysis of data, an advanced interactive data download, and enhanced data exchange through web services. It is now easier than ever to access food and agriculture statistics.
It will be possible to access both versions in the coming months.
