Following the official launch of the NeOn Technologies Foundation there have been set up, some communication tools, branding and initial promotion material to make the Foundation visible to the community:

• The mailing list for all the registered members has been set up using Google groups. The address is [email protected]. If you received this e-mail, it means that you are on it and that it works properly. Every member can send messages to the list and we expected it to be used as a medium for announcements and discussions on topics related to the Foundation.

• The website (http://neon-foundation.org) is operational with its final design since this week. There are many different sections that will continue to evolve with time, hopefully with your input. It is worth subscribing to its RSS feed as news especially regarding new developments in the NeOn toolkit will be posted there regularly.

• The twitter feed (@neonfoundation) will be used for more direct announcements and discussions within the NeOn Foundation Community. Please tweet any NeOn Foundation related though/message/topic using the #neonfoundation hashtag, and it will be retweeted by @neonfoundation, and appear on the front page of the website.

• The NeOn Foundation postcards: several members of the NeOn Foundation are currently at the ISWC conference, distributing nicely designed postcards to promote the Foundation. Check them out if you are there. If you are organising an event where you would like to have promotional material about the Foundation, please get in contact with us.
