IFLA launches new repository at IFLA WLIC 2013

12/08/2013

IFLA will launch its new repository - IFLA library - publicly at the IFLA World Library and Information Congress 2013 which will take place next week in Singapore.

IFLA Library is using EPrints to build and host the repository and currently contains all IFLA WLIC 2013 papers, existing IFLA standards, and a selection of advocacy documents.

In the future, freely-available full-text resources and links to restricted content for all IFLA resources will be uploaded and the contents will be developed and increased, in particular with new resources for each subsequent WLIC.

The new repository is part of IFLA’s Digital Content Programme Key Initiative, and is designed to collect IFLA’s own publications with the objective of exchanging information on issues critical to the practice of librarianship in the digital age.
