For WebAGRIS users intending to migrate their records to AgriOcean DSpace kindly note it is now possible to batch import your WebAGRIS records to AOD. The basic requirement would be that your records should be in the AGRIS AP metadata format. If you have a file(s) with several records to be imported to AOD, follow the steps outlined below.

Ensure that the files to be uploaded are in AGRIS AP XML format.

Step 1:Have your intended AGRIS Record files in a single file.

Please note that this is not a  requirement, if you have many records it’s advisable to split records into into smaller files and upload them one by one.

Step 2: Choosing the collection where to upload records.

Log into the AOD,  and choose the ‘Collection’ within your repository where you intend to upload the records to and then under the “The Submit to This Collection” button you will see the upload functions. In the screen shot below you will see an intended upload under the collection ‘Publications’.

Step 3: Choose the AGRIS AP metadata format.

Use the tab in the identified collection and choose AGRIS AP metadata format and then upload the file(s) from your computer.

Step 4 : Edit Submissions 

Proceed to “My Dspace” where you can open and edit unfinished submissions. Note that there is a need to manually check each uploaded item ‘one by one’. Since editions are done “one by one” it is advisable to upload in smaller batches
