The objective of this webinar is to provide an overview of Islandora and its solution packs for the management of digital assets. Islandora is based on Drupal, Fedoraand Solr and enables its users to work with different data types (such as image, video, and pdf) and knowledge domains (such as Chemistry and the Digital Humanities). Furthermore the solutions of Islandora consider the needs of the editors as well as the organizations’ audience.The webinar will present the concept of Islandora, example solutions packs for digital assets, activities, the benefits of being part of the Islandora community and achievements of Islandora.
