Big Data Europe Platform: What? for Whom? and How? - Webinar recording is now available online

As you may already know, Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) of the UN is participating in the H2020 project “BDE: Integrating Big Data, Software & Communities for Addressing Europe’s Societal Challenges”, funded by the European Union's Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme.

BDE provides support mechanisms for all the major aspects of a data value chain, in terms of the employed data and technology assets, the participating roles and the established or evolving processes.

Recently, @AIMS_Community hold a Webinar on BDE, with Dr. Hajira Jabeen as the guest speaker.

A recording of the webinar is now available HERE

This webinar will introduce you to the Big Data Europe (BDE) Platform (BDI), the aim of which is to make big data simpler, cheaper and more flexible than ever before.

The webinar will also present the use case pilot demonstrator - VITIS, that is being developed by Agroknow with support from the BDE Horizon 2020 project. VITIS exploits core technologies for serving specific real-world problems of the Viticulture Research Community by assessing research results produced through Basic and Applied Research.
