As a portal for Agricultural Information standards, the AIMS team is always looking to include guest contributors to the AIMS blog. As a member, you have the opportunity to contribute to discussions, along with highlighting new information related to the themes of interest of the AIMS community to be housed within the AIMS website in the form of a blog post. 

If you are not currently an AIMS member and would like to join, fill out the registration form. Once you have sent your registration details, you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive an email, please email [email protected].

Creating a Blog Post within AIMS:

Once you are an AIMS member, creating a blog post is quite simple. If you are logged in to the AIMS website, on the top left hand corner you click the button “post.”

Once you click on “post” a simple to navigate page appears, allowing you to create a blog title and paste the contents of your blog.

Once the content of your blog is pasted, on the same page you will find a section to add a thumbnail image for your post. You will also find an area labeled “areas of interest.” Here, you should click on the areas of interest that make sense for the topic of your blog. Members of AIMS who have subscribed to those particular areas of interest will be sent a notification that your blog was posted, increasing overall visibility.
